White soldier attacked by #BlackLivesMatter gang leaving McDonalds, but no hate crime charges

What happens when a decorated Marine is brutally attacked by a mob of teenagers who allegedly beat up the Marine because of the color of his skin? A hate crime charge is filed, right?

Wrong! Not if the Marine is white and his attackers are part of the Black Lives Matter movement.

That is exactly what happened to Marine veteran, Chris Marquez, who was viciously assaulted by two teenagers as he was leaving McDonalds.

The Daily Caller reports:

Marquez said that prior to the assault he was harassed by a group of black teenagers who allegedly asked him “do you believe black lives matter?” By his own account, when he declined to engage them they started calling him a racist.

As he walked out the entrance he was followed, whipped in the head with a handgun and robbed by a number of individuals who took his identification, credit cards and cash and continued to kick him as he lay unconscious on the pavement.

Marquez said he believes the attack was clearly motivated by race and wishes that black leaders would speak out to condemn such violence.

This is unbelievable. This is un-American.

Our veterans sacrifice everything for every single American. They sacrifice everything – spending months away from family and friends in areas of the world where they could be killed at any moment – for the American ideal that skin color doesn’t matter and that we are all created equal in God’s eyes.

And this is how Chris Marquez is thanked. This is how he is treated.

This is despicable. Why isn’t this being talked about on every news channel and website? Why isn’t this story trending on Facebook and Twitter?

If people truly care about racial equality and racial reconciliation, they’ll talk about this. We must talk about this. Anyone who doesn’t is lying if they tell you they care about ending racism and promoting equality.

It’s shameful.
