Baby Body Parts for Sale at Planned Parenthood

I don’t know what more we can do, but it’s horrible and we shouldn’t pretend it doesn’t exist or that it is a small problem.

But I suppose our perpetual “shock” at Planned Parenthood is kind of like the viewer who watches a documentary about Auschwitz and comes away calling it “eye opening.” In one sense it is, but in another, it ought not be. This was a place where Nazis murdered human beings in bulk. That’s why the concentration camps existed, to exterminate people. What do you think it’s going to look like? Once you understand what they did, how can you be additionally shocked by the peripheral details? They gassed women and children and burned their naked bodies like heaps of garbage. Why would you be “shocked” to find out that, in the meantime, they also tormented and starved them?

And that’s how it is with abortion clinics. Each one is a mini-concentration camp, and together it took them less than half a century to murder 50 million human beings. In fact, the similarities between the Nazis and the abortion industry run even deeper, as the former was also known to chop its victims up and sell parts of them for profit.

What is the core problem? G.K.Chesterton said “Every argument is a theological argument”

And so it is.

The core problem is not simply abortion, but the treatment of children as commodities. A child is something to own. In other words, a child is really in the same economic category as a slave.

A slave owner could whip and starve and sell and kill a slave if he saw fit.

Same with American children–and it’s not just abortion. If you want a baby you can have one. I read yesterday about a person who was genetically male, but “identified” as female. The doctors somehow grew a fake womb for her and put it in her body, then inserted a test tube conceived fertilized egg into this womb and “she” gave birth through caesarian section. Or if two homosexual men want a baby they can have one too. They donate sperm, buy a donated egg, hire a surrogate and get themselves a child.

Children as commodities to purchase = children as slaves, and if you can buy a baby then you can sell the baby–or at least sell your eggs, sell your sperm, hire out your womb.

And if you can buy a baby if you want one, then of course you can kill your baby before its born and (as is increasingly obvious) kill it after its born if that suits you. It’s called “post delivery abortion”
