Pardon My Dust

Pardon My Dust 2015-01-12T09:31:59-07:00

Today, stumbling about in a Christmas-induced haze, I have come to the shocking realization that I’ve been blogging for a little more than two years here at Summa This, Summa ThatYep, that’s right. Two+ at The Ol’ ST,ST —  aka, pretty much longer than I’ve focused on any one thing in my entire life.

Wow. Time really does fly when you’re having fun.

It’s been a blast, for sure. But things have gotten a bit loosey-goosey, as well. (Yes, I love gif posts. No, I’m not sure that’s the way I want the InterWebs to remember me. Otherwise known as “Yes, I’m silly. No, I’m not sure I want everyone to know that. Forever.”) So, I’ve been thinking of stepping back briefly. To survey the landscape. And to prune and polish where appropriate.

Also, I’ve been meaning to gather my “Through a Lens, Darkly” articles together and put them somewhere on the blog itself. (And there are a few other features/enhancements I’d like to add to the place, as well. If I can figure them out. And if my Patheos hosts are amenable.)

In short, I’m takin’ a quick break to review my electronic space, with an eye towards coming back shortly with a renewed focus (and energy and maybe even a bit of a different look). All of which means things might be a bit sparse (in the short term) and a bit altered (when I get back). Nothing dramatic, mind you. Pretty sure I’m old enough that my interests aren’t going to change overnight. Or ever.

But a week or two of sprucing/cleaning seems like a good year-end activity. So everyone take five, and see you in 2015!
