I honestly never feared the end of the Mueller report resulting in Donald Trump walking free. I had deep concerns for what would follow. I had concerns about his supporters and how they would react. The morning after takes on Attorney General William Barr’s summary of the finalized Mueller report are a sight to behold. Not a good sight, mind you. They range from the outrageous to the grotesque. I’ve dutifully followed the probe of Russian interference in the 2016 election from its beginnings, and now it looks as if I can start wrapping this up. Special counsel Robert Mueller turned in his final report on Friday, putting its fate in the hands of newly-appointed Attorney General William Barr.
