"Stimulus" bill needs to die…

I’m tied up with a project, but since you don’t have to waste three minutes reading me today, do take two of them and call your representative and let him or her know how you feel about this absurdly pork-filled “stimulus” package, which is approaching almost 900 BILLION dollars.

The package does not seem to create many jobs at all – but it does keep shoveling money at the people who waste it while producing nothing and creating few jobs.

Tell them you’re not buying into the propaganda. Tell them we want a stimulus bill that will actually stimulate the economy, not simply lard up or entrench their favorite social programs. Worthy as some of them may be…they will not create jobs.

Find your rep in Malkin’s list and make a call.

“Now that we’re nationalizing” Mo Dowd, may be cavalier about it all – she did just have a nice relaxing spa week on the company, after all, and doesn’t have to worry about what it all will mean for the future – but this issue is too important to your children’s future.

Our president is busy doing a Carter-like critique of his own nation to the rest of the world, we have to demand, at the very least, some say in how our money is spent. Yes, this is one fight truly worth having.

We have a responsibility to demand clarity and sensibility of this package and our leadership. If we don’t ask, we deserve what we get.

And don’t be afraid; dissent is the highest form of patriotism!
