Eric Metaxas Has a New TV Show

An eagle-eyed cultural observer sent me this link; Eric Metaxas, the wittiest evangelical there is and a public intellectual of no small renown, has a new TV show (first reported by Michael Bird). It is 100 Huntley Street, and it pairs Metaxas with April Hernandez of the movie “Freedom Writers.”

It looks worth watching thus far, and it’s cool to see Metaxas get a TV show. In the right medium, he’ll be dynamite. With his outstanding Socrates in the City program, he somehow is able to turn discussions about thermodynamics and hermeneutics into something very close to stand-up comedy.
