On Second Thought: Episode Two

Trust me, it’s crazy to see your life on television. That’s why every week, I’m going to do a blog posts called “On Second Thought.” These posts are where I will go over the episodes of my Lifetime show as I process the issues presented now that I’ve seen them aired.  I hope you’ll join me for these weekly posts – which will undoubtedly be part-confession, part-explanation, and part-celebration of my life right now!

Episode Two, Air Date: June 19, 2012

Okay, so by now you’ve seen the footage of my argument with the guy in the bar.  And by now you know I’m being sued over it.  So I probably shouldn’t write much about this encounter right now as my lawyers work on my defense.

I will say this, however.  As soon as that awful confrontation was over, I called my friend and my mom.  I’m blessed to have these people in my life.  I’m fully aware that there are many people in this world who face troubles without a loving support system.  So thanks, guys.

However, please come back to my blog after the next episodes for my “On Second Thought” blog posts.  Trust me – I won’t hold back on the next ones!

We plan to watch every episode of ‘Life’s a Tripp’, because we love Bristol and her family.

I agree with the writer who suggested you get off the reality whirlwind. You are just opening yourself to be criticized endlessly. Is it really worth it? I think your mom is great, a great voice for many of us. Perhaps it’s best to leave it at that. Most sincerely .

I was very proud of how you handle the situation. Much more dignified than the majority of us wohld have been.

He is an idiot and so is is fudge packer of a friend. It is so pathetic how A LOT of gay’s act like the world owes them everything because they are different. I thought it was funny when he said you were white trash from Wasilla because I was thinking that he is a disgusting, typical idiotic liberal from California! I love your show, these people can be negative all they want…you are in control of your life so screw everyone else! I’ve seen you around town quite a few times, I never talk to you because I don’t want to bother you but I always get all excited when I do see you, I love you and your family even though I don’t know y’all! =]

I guess Danielle is not a Christian with the language she used.

I am a Democrat, a Liberal, a Progressive and a American. That guy does not represent me. There is no reason to attack someone just because you have different points of view and different beliefs, what an embarrassment!

I love you, your Mom and your whole family, I voted for the first time in my life because of her. I used to lean Democratic until I realized that like you, even though we are single parents that we have values, we believe in God and even if we make mistakes we are forgiven and that life is given by God. The dems would just call it a mistake and tell me to rid of the life, (and all my dem friends did) even though it was the best decision I ever made I kept her and I love her and she changed my life for the better. I do not have a family like you do and I pray to God that you are thankful that you do. The only one I see that will have regrets later down the line will be the dad who used the whole situation for his own fame. GOD BLESS YOU HONEY AND LET YOURSELF BE HAPPY JUST BEWARE OF YOUR FUTURE CHOICES.
