ABORTION IS NOT A PERSONAL CHOICE ISSUE, BECAUSE IT IS NOT A VICTIMLESS CRIME. IN ORDER TO BE CALLED A “CHOICE” ISSUE, IT MUST FIRST MEET THE CRITERIA OF VICTIMLESS CRIME. ABORTION HAS A VICTIM!

Who ever thought that clump of cells could turn into a person? Not liberals.

    • HuntingMoose

Only an atheist believes a person is the same and nothing more than the body, a big clump of cells.
      .
Interestingly, this would make abortion by atheist standards and believes always a case of murder, something that most liberal “pro-choice” atheists do not realize
      .
For those not following the religion of atheism, they believe (or hope as agnostics do) that a person is more than just those cells. That it is a vessel for a spirit to grown in and to use
      .
By destroying that lump of cells, that vessel , the ability for that spirit to grow and to proof it’s worthiness to be kept or reused and not to be discarded by G_d , is taken away
      .
When and how that spirit is attached to the body is unknown to us , some believe it is at conception, others like Obama believe it happens long after birth, but would you not rather want to be safe side of this believe or on the sorry side?

A clump of cells is not alive, that’s why abortion exists as it does today.

    • Bill589

Think again. We all were, and still are, a ‘clump of cells’. That is how God designed things.

The cell is the basic unit of life. It shows the characteristics of life. Go back to Biology class.

Very inspiring & educational post. Thank you, beautiful Bristol.

Bristol, thanks for sharing this inspiring beautiful story of LIFE. God’s precious gift for each and every one of us. He give and He take away. God is the only ONE that has the authority to do that. Yes, we the ungrateful one tried to play God in many aspect of this life. Again, i thank you for sharing how God turned our evil deeds to bring glory and honor to His Holy Name!!!

I wonder why Melissa’s Mother waited so long to try the abortion.

  • Patricia Torres

Bristol….God bless you and your whole family. You all are truly amazing.

I wonder how it was possible even in 1977 to try and abort a fetus that
was 8 months old. That had to have been illegal then as I am sure it is
now. That really is disgusting to try and burn a baby with salt–a
viable baby that could easily survive outside the womb at that age. That baby was ALREADY a CHILD, not a little mass of cells!

    Powerful.

WOW! Think how Melissa will change the life of another. I could fall in love with her, for so many reasons, her beauty and intelligence alone. Think how each of us could be cheated if our soul partner was aborted. Thank You Bristol, never stop fighting the fight.

I have to add, that five years later, 1982, as a rookie Police Officer I had to deliver a eighth month Saline Abortion, thinking I was delivering a born child. It was very upsetting, and obviously something I could never forget.

Thanks to Melissa for her courage to tell the world her important story about life and love! Thanks to her extraordinary adoptive parents for loving her and helping her reach her fullest potential…the power of love!

  • Kristy Patullo

What a shocking story. 8 Months pregnant?! Absolutely barbaric. She’s a
beautiful young woman. God bless her.

The definition of life is when th components of life develop, by your definition cancer cells are alive. When abortion was first established it was determined that the fetis would be viable going in to the 22 week or so, that’s why abortions are limited but to a few rare cases after that time frame.
