Candace Cameron-Bure as “The Little Mermaid!”

Did you see Dancing with the Stars last night?  Candace Cameron-Bure was “The Little Mermaid?”  Here’s what Entertainment Weekly wrote:

The last couple on the floor was the couple at the bottom of the leaderboard. Mark and Candace were also tackling the samba, but they were doing it with the most over-the-top, amazing costumes you could imagine. The Little Mermaid was their theme, which meant Mark was wearing claws — he was Sebastian! — and Candace had on a red wig, which she obviously combed with her dinglehopper!

That was such a cute and fun performance; she’s been doing so good!

This is ridiculous! She is a MARRIED woman AND supposed to be a Christian. I am sorry, no offense, but this is NOT AT ALL appropriate or a good representation of what any woman of faith should be doing at all. If people are that bored, simply because they have money and are a famous celebrity, they need to do something else that has more full merit and justified actions. I cannot believe how dumbed down western culture in America has gotten not seeing what is right in front of their face. First of all, it doesn’t take much to see Disney is a corporation and also one of the owners of corporate news, radio, movie and television media. That is your first big clue. It is not, nor has it ever been Christian at all. These people are very deceptive and have fooled millions of people over the years. Walt Disney was a 33 degree freemason, obviously occult and not Christian at all. If you study, and I mean REALLY AND TRULY study closely the symbolism of Disney, and what has been going on up to this day, you will easily see people have clearly been deceived and this corporation is not all what people think it is or has been, specially considering what goes on behind closed doors and who runs all of it. There is a lot that can be said about Walt and this corrupt corporation, but people should know how to see it, if they just open their eyes and minds and see the facts of what I spoke of and so much more. I cannot deal with this. There is my two cents. Peace.

Well….got anything more to complain about. Oh wait I can think of
something, you must HATE Mormons, Jehovah’s Witnesses and Jews too. Look
everyone has the right to be whom ever they decide. So what if some
things are not to your liking. Did not Christ himself say:

1 Judge not, that ye be not judged.
2 For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again.
3 And why beholdest thou the mote that is in thy brother’s eye, but considerest not the beam that is in thine own eye?
4 Or how wilt thou say to thy brother, Let me pull out the mote out of thine eye; and, behold, a beam is in thine own eye?

5 Thou hypocrite, first cast out the beam out of thine own eye; and
then shalt thou see clearly to cast out the mote out of thy brother’s
      eye.(Matt. 7:1–5)

I’m a Mormon, I believe in my faith and know it
to be true because I have FAITH. However, that does not give me the
right to hate others for their faith. Every religion, no matter how
obscure, has some Godly truths. Whether it is something that resembles
the ten commandments or even what is called the Golden Rule, which by
the way is “… whatsoever ye would that men should do to you, do ye even
so to them: for this is the law…” (Matt 7:12)

      As for me I say
good for her, she can dance and picked a good song. I think she even
nailed the costume, though the guy playing Sebastian…a LOT of red.
Also, if you don’t like what you see who cares its not important in the
      eternal scheme of things.

@disqus_i8R4prlBdB:disqus I don’t think anyone said Disney was Christian or even had to be. I also don’t think that this has anything to do with anything you even commented. Don’t like it, don’t watch it, jv.

Keep your Fake A$$ god talk out of the conversation you bible thumping freak. People like you have no place on earth. Leave Now.

You’re quite the HYPOCRITE George. Just 3 months ago you posted this comment criticizing Ted Nugent for saying bad things about Obama – “He is filled with so much hate, that someone like ted could never be commander in chief. I’m amazed that anyone allows him to be on a soapbox at all. that’s freedom of press I guess.” – Yet here you are spewing the same “hate filled” language when it comes to people you don’t like speaking up.

jv, yes she is married and happily so. I think dancing with another partner has no real affect on a happy Christian marriage it is just a public dance. For you it may have other implications so I would caution you to not let yourself go because to you it may lead to something else. This is the same judgment most people make they themselves make judgments or assumptions based on their own idea of self and temptations. One of the reasons Jesus didn’t want Christians to do anything that would cause another to stumble was not that it was wrong for them but wrong for others who like yourself work from a perspective of weakness. Do not begrudge her a little fun and happiness in dancing cleanly, at least clean in todays standards. If her heart was pure and she was dancing in pleasure to the Lord would you find it to be unseemly then or have you forgotten the lesson of king David dancing naked before the Lord?

Oh for Pete’s sake! It’s just a fun dance themed from a CARTOON! Mark would have had very little time to come up with a concept and would have to do the choreography based on the required moves of the Samba. No one is putting that much thought into it! Get a life. Yes, I am a Christian AND a dancer!!!

    • Fred

My Grandfather was a Deacon of his church his entire life and also a freemason, I don’t see where you get saying being a freemason makes you a bad person or in a cult. I understand what you’re saying but I think God would want you to spread the word in places that truly need the help, not something like this. I also don’t believe God would want you bashing people on here for this or that, that’s not the way to go about things in the first place.

Bristol is just jealous because Candace is a better dancer

Torrid, tempestuous, tantalizing, and absolutely amazing.

Such a cool girl and they did a good job. Had fun doing it. I would have preferred it without the red wig.
