August 24: My One Sentence Bible

What is My One Sentence Bible?

Be careful to where your ultimate allegiance lies … to a secure paycheck? Or to what the secular and religious mainstream deem undesirable sacrifices—that which comes with God’s Kingdom? Matthew 23:16-22

Note to the Christian hipsters of the world: Your cool swagger and looks mean nothing. Let your actions be noticed, not your clothes. Matthew 23:25-28

A true follower of Jesus listens when they are called out by others. What do you do in that situation—argue or contemplate their words with God? Matthew 23:29-39

Even the disciples were mesmerized by the grandeur of church buildings. Jesus wasn’t. Matthew 24:1-2

Much love.
