I’m happy to see any efforts that lead to an end to straight supremacy from Christians… as a former ex-gay, I’m still resoliving the damage that was done to me in the name of Christ. So, thank you for the apology. It’s going to take more than that, but this looks like a good step…

“Sexual orientation?” Really, Kimmy? If so, how could God be fair in so clearly condemning the practice of homosexuality in the Bible [Lev. 18:22; 2O:13; Rom. 1:26-27; 1 Cor. 6:9-1O; I Tim. 1:1O; etc.]?

“Jesus loves everyone?” Really, Kimmy? Have you ever read Ps. 5:5, for example? Ps. 11:5 says, “The LORD tests the righteous, but his soul hates the wicked and the one who loves violence.” Kimmy, I suggest you READ YOUR BIBLE a bit more completely and closely! Then you might find it a bit more difficult to fall into the trap of believing “every wind of doctrine” [Eph. 4:14] coming your way from guys like Andrew Marin.

“…the wounds I might have caused them.” Actually, there is “good” wounding and “bad” wounding. Prov. 27:6 says, “Faithful are the wounds of a friend; profuse are the kisses of an enemy.” While Andrew and his group is “kissing” the homosexual, affirming him in something God hates and will punish, Christians should be “wounding” them with the truth so that they come to repentance and saving faith! Such “wounding” is actually THE MOST LOVING THING A CHRISTIAN CAN DO in light of what awaits the practicing homosexual after their physical death [from AIDS?], according to 1 Cor. 6:9-1O, “Or do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived; neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor homosexuals, nor thieves, nor the covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor swindlers, will inherit the kingdom of God.”

And let’s not forget that there were ex-homosexuals in the Church of Corinth, according to v. 11: “Such were some of you; but you were washed, but you were sanctified, but you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and in the Spirit of our God.” Amen!
