Donald Trump Has Female Problems

Donald Trump Has Female Problems April 4, 2016

You’ve been thinking it; now, I’ve written it.

Donald Trump has female problems.

I don’t understand how anyone who claims the gender could ever consider voting for him. But, I don’t understand how gays and lesbians support Log Cabin Republicans, either.

While capable of paradoxical thinking (I am still a Mets fan) and while vehemently opposed to the term “self-loathing,” particularly when used by members of the GLBTQ community against its own, women, what art thy thinking?

You may have expected I was going to pontificate about Trump’s problems with female voters, as in, he does not have many likely ones should he get the GOP nomination and run against either Bernie Sanders or Hillary Clinton in November. Polls show some 70 percent of likely female voters just don’t like The Donald. Within his own party, 47 percent said they “could not imagine themselves” voting for him.

I want to know what is wrong with the other 30 and 53 percent of female voters?

  1. Does your husband, uncle, boyfriend, or nephew typically talk about having sexual relations with his daughter? Does that make you comfortable when it happens? Trump has talked about it on more than one occasion.
  2. Does your male boss, co-worker, or friend typically talk about the menstruation of women he hardly knows and does he call women “fat pigs,” “dogs,” and “disgusting animals”? Does the same man ever address you this way and you think you deserve it? Trump has a pattern of using this type of language.
  3. When faced with disagreements, did your grandfather, fiancé, or patriarch ever say, “I’d like to punch him in the face,” I’d like to “carry them out on a stretcher, or I’d like to treat them “very, very rough”? Does the same man treat you that way and you think you deserve it? This is how Trump thinks disagreements should be settled.

If your answer to these questions is “no,” congratulations. Why do so many expect less from our next president?

If your answer to any of these questions is “yes,” I am truly sorry. You do not deserve this treatment from anyone, at home, at work, anywhere. Call the National Domestic Violence Hotline at 800-799-7233. Friends don’t let friends vote Trump.
