Thank you for your kind commisserations

I wanted to say thank you for all of the kind expressions of condolence offered by so many via Twitter and Facebook and even email. So many of you who have lost beloved pets (or, sadly, are watching your own family members slow down) understand the surprising depths of grief that overtakes us when they pass. I am truly grateful for your generous words and prayers. Thank you.

Blogging and internet “hanging out” will be light this week, as I try desperately to finish a project that has been too long on my plate; with Alle’s death, I’m afraid no writing got done over the weekend (when it really needed to) but I could not begin to undertake that without first thanking you all for your kind words, and the generosity of spirit for which I pray God blesses you.
