Music to Enjoy

Sorry I’m late posting today! I got caught up with some things at my office and lost track of time.

I wanted to share something that I found on YouTube. This woman sings beautiful kirtans and mantras. She seems to be another white Hindu!

    Ambaa ,
I just came upon your site and would like to ask you a simple question regarding what Hindu’s ? believe about eternity . To put it simply : Where do you think you will be or where are you going after you die ?

    • Ambaa

We believe that who we are is not our bodies, so the soul within the vessel of the body is immortal and does not die. We may take on new “costumes” and act out new “plays” but death is just going back stage for a costume change. We will go through lives and bodies, acting out various emotions and experiences to help us grow until we get to a point where we are able to see through the illusion and our individual souls (which were never really separate from God at all) go back to the universe. Really, the space where you end and I begin is an illusion. We are connected by molecules and all molecules throughout the universe are God.

wow!! I am blown. I didn’t think somebody white ( I’m not being racist , but I’m shocked ) could sing manglacharan this beautifully .

I am facebook friends with her sister. I think she has a YouTube site too.

      • Ambaa

Very cool! Small world, eh? :)

    • Ambaa

You should hear my cousin! She studied opera in college, then moved to India and started classical music lessons. She plays sitar and sings more beautifully than…well, anything in the world. It brings me to tears to hear her.
