As you know, some the NFL is in hot water after players have decided to protest America during the National anthem. Some teams either took a knee during the Star Spangled banner or refused to come on the field at all. President Donald Trump had harsh statements about the protests last weekend.
Last weekend, the Pittsburgh Steelers, Chicago Beats, Seattle Seahawks, and Tennessee Titans refused to even come out onto the field while our national anthem was being played. Plus, almost a hundred players — as individuals – didn’t stand.
In response, the President said, “I think the NFL is in a box. I think they’re in a really bad box. You look at what’s happening with their ratings. You look at what’s happening going … frankly the only thing that’s doing well for the NFL is the pregame, because everyone wants to see what’s going on. The NFL is in a very bad box. You cannot have people disrespecting our national anthem, our flag, our country, and that’s what they’re doing. In my opinion, the NFL has to change, or you know what’s going to happen? Their business is going to go to hell.”
I think it’s interesting that — amidst all of this conflict — the television networks refused to show the action in the stadiums. For example, watch Patriots fans almost boo the players off the field:

The American people are fed up with the protests… But even if the media fails to report more accurately on the reaction of the fans, I guess the fans will have to let their voices be heard by simply turn off their sets.
