Wow. I can’t believe this!

A mom in the UK lost her job and has been threatened with charges of child abuse after their school learned she showed her kids a pro-life documentary!

She shared Gospel tracts with parents at a school Christmas party, and one included information about the movie 180. When the principal found out, she was immediately suspended from her two-hour-a-week job at the school and was told to bring no legal counsel to meetings about the issue. She resigned and thought it would end the trouble, but then the school board sent Child Protection Services after her for exposing her kids to the truth about abortion.

And get this – this happened at a church school! You’d think that of all people, they would value life. The board called the film “horrific,” which it must be if it’s showing the evils of abortion. That’s exactly the point.

The mom told a radio show:

We do not watch violent films in our household, but I feel it is important to bring up children, teaching them what is right and wrong, even if the subject is a bit heavy (like the Holocaust and abortion). When my sons were about 10 and 8, I explained to them what those things meant, and the reason I did so is because the sex-ed starts here in U.K. very early.

It’s kind of a double-standard to teach sex education classes to 10-year-olds but call educating them about abortion ‘child abuse.’

The maker of the film, Ray Comfort, wrote a letter supporting the mom’s side. He called it a “horror” and “tragedy” if “the government comes in and takes your children from you because they don’t like what you’re teaching your own children.”

The film compares the millions killed in Hitler’s Holocaust to the millions of babies that have been killed by legalized abortion, a “modern holocaust that is sanctioned by the government.” Comfort said they’ve given the film out to many schools and never heard a complaint.
