Ha! I saw this on the internet — assuming it’s a joke.
However, I did find out that the new polar bear cookies at Starbucks are freaking people out. According to US Weekly:
People are now upset with Starbucks over their attempt at a cute seasonal cookie. Customers of the mega coffee chain have been sharing photos of the new polar bear-shaped cookies wearing a red scarf. Sounds innocent, however, some folks are seeing something decidedly different — instead of a scarf, they see bears with bloody, slashed necks.
I guess this Christmas the coffee mega-chain can’t do anything right! (For those of you who missed my take on the infamous “red cup controversy, click HERE.)
Anyway, I don’t think Starbucks is intentionally decapitating polar bears… But just to be sure, buy coffee from your local stores. (Shout out to Mocha Moose, who — as far as I know — has never killed any polar bears in the making of their coffee.)
