But now, look at my boy! He looks all grown up!
In this photo, he just got new contacts, and I can’t believe how old he looks.
I almost hesitate to bring up glasses in the context of Palins. My mom, of course, caused all kinds of hysteria over her glasses. (And people like Tina Fey thought they could look like her by just slipping a pair on themselves and calling it a day. Um…. No.) When she ever tries on a different pair, the media goes nuts. And even eye glass manufacturers start making what they call “Sarah Palin glasses.” Come on! You’d think there was more going on in the world than what my mom wore on her face.
Regardless, I love it that Tripp is growing up to be such a great kid. I’m so excited that he can see the world more clearly! (But I love him in his contacts OR his glasses.)
