Liberty Counsel is once again showing what may be the most ubiquitous personal trait of the wingnut tribe — hypocrisy. When gay people use their purchasing power and voice to push companies to favor equality, that’s “economic terrorism.” When wingnuts do the same thing to complain about a TV show, that’s just doing God’s work.
Just when you thought Newt Gingrich couldn’t get any more ridiculous or hypocritical, he did an interview with Chris Matthews in which he condemned Mitt Romney for making ads that criticized him. You have to see this. It’s simply breathtaking.
Rep. Allen West makes a strong case for the Bryan Fischer Award with this Glenn Beck-level Godwinism, comparing the Democratic Party to the Nazis and throwing in a little faux persecution for good measure.
I can’t believe I’m saying this, but Bryan Fischer actually said something reasonable. Honest, he did. You can read it yourself. In writing about Newt’s long history of infidelity he says:

Bryan Fischer mentioned my Bryan Fischer Award on his radio show on Friday, but clearly misunderstands the point of the award even though I’ve explained it in some detail. On his show he said:

Pat Buchanan is on his fear and loathing in White America tour, trying to convince everyone that white people are terribly persecuted in the United States and will soon find themselves rounded up into concentration camps by the great colored hordes. Take a look at the serious psychological projection in his latest column, which is breathtaking in its lack of self-awareness:
