Thank you, Grace Biskie, for sharing this video. However, I still think Will Smith can do waaaay more than I ever could. Most things we want in life cost big bucks, something I have none of. And contacts. And open doors of opportunity. And a go-get-’em attitude. You, on the other hand? I see your spirit and your passion and your desire. Therefore, you will accomplish what your heart most desires. It may take longer, but it will happen for you. I also deeply understand the lies laid upon us at a young age and how those lies get into our marrow and make up who we think we are. It can sometimes take a lifetime to overcome—I’m heading fast for 58, and I still carry crap that never should’ve been spoken over me. Your video gives me hope… hope for even me.

Wow Grace. Great to actually hear you read this. It is so powerful that you still went even though it seemed like your world was crashing down before you eyes. I’m glad you pressed through and still went. Still praying that everything comes to a peaceful end.

Grace, thank you so much for sharing this with us! Somehow I missed the original post….and hearing you speak the words is so very powerful! God has gifted you and you have a powerful voice. Now….I finally understand why you were so different at WTS than when I first met you at the Womanist conference….and what kept us from connecting at a deeper level again. Good riddance to it!!!
