I’ve been privileged to travel to some incredible places around the globe, Paris, Rome, Athens – but all pale in comparison to coming home. Many things contribute to my deep love for home, and I thought I’d share some of my favorite from my quick trip home for Easter!

Here are some of my favorite things about coming home:

– Home is having enjoying my coffee with the view from my front porch.

– Home is my brothers teasing me mercilessly (secretly I enjoy every second of it).

– Home is my little brother asking when he and I can have a “date” – just so we can talk and catch up. Yeah, he’s a cutie 🙂

– Home is having the coffee pot on all day long, and running into my dad as we’re both going to refill our cups for the third time.

– Home is running to the grocery store and everyone is so kind to one another, and practically half the store knows one another. 

– Home is feeling completely safe and comfortable.

– Home is sitting down at the piano and playing some of my most beloved hymns!

No matter where I go, what I do, or who I meet, home will always be my favorite place, with my favorite people.
