It’s “launch week” for my brand new book The Grace of Yes: Eight Virtues for Generous Living. To celebrate, we are paying tribute to seven very special examples of “The Grace of Yes in Action”, the seven winners for our “Name the Goldfish” contest. Louisiana Right to Life helps the state of Louisiana say “yes” to life – from womb to tomb. Louisiana Right to Life has been the starting point for each of my girls to learn to say yes, to be open to God’s mercy and grace, and to help others. It is the starting point for their yes in social justice via the Catholic Church.

According to their website, Louisiana Right to Life has committed itself to lighting the way for the pro-life movement in Louisiana. Per their mission statement:

Louisiana Right to Life Federation (LARTL), established in 1970, works through education and legislation to restore the right to life in Louisiana by opposing abortion, euthanasia, and other life destroying actions.

As the state’s pro-life resource, LARTL builds and serves local Right to Life Chapters throughout the state. These chapters, along with other affiliates, are ready to answer local, statewide, and national issues effectively.
