NLQ Question of the Week: Why Demonize Other Christians With Slight Differences? February 9, 2017

QuestionoftheweekThis is a series we run every Thursday. The questions are things that people who may not know much about the Quiverfull movement or even Fundamentalist or Evangelical Christianity ask about the lifestyle. Examining some of the questions involving Quiverfull theology and life can only shine a light on the toxic nature of this lifestyle choice.

This week while watching Steven Anderson of Faithful Word Baptist church fight with other pastors, his wife trash Hyles-Anderson college and First Baptist Church of Hammond and NLQ writer Bruce Gerencser fight off various Evangelical bloggers I have to wonder what’s behind all the fighting and putting down other Christians or non-Christians over small doctrinal differences. Why the need to be always right? Why the intolerance instead of attempting understanding and agreeing that they might view things a little differently?
