Breaking news from this afternoon of a rather disturbing thing – Josh Duggar is joining his sisters lawsuit against the local government and In Touch over the release of information on his molestation of his sisters. On what grounds could he possibly have grounds? FOIA requests on legal records happen, no matter what the local cop shop might say.

Josh Duggar now wants his own pound of flesh from the police and city officials 4 of his sisters are suing for releasing investigators’ reports on his molestation case.

Duggar filed documents to join the lawsuit Jill, Jessa, Jinger and Joy filed last month. In his docs, Josh says cops assured him his 2006 interview discussing the molestation of his sisters would remain private. He says since he wasn’t charged, the information wouldn’t have gone public … if the reports weren’t released to In Touch magazine.

Duggar says once the story came out, it caused him mental anguish and humiliation. He played up the sympathy card in the docs, saying he was “victimized and forced to relieve the painful and difficult circumstances of a traumatic experience as a juvenile.”

Just like his sisters … Josh wants damages from Springdale, Arkansas police, city and county prosecutors and the In Touch publishers.

Might have figured this would happen considering it has come out in the media this week that Josh is being added back into the family fold for the show. He and Anna were promoted in Duggar media releases during their son Marcus’ birthday party. US Magazine has been promoting Josh on their website after he’s been persona non-gratis for over two years now.

In Touch Weekly had one of those unnamed Duggar insiders say this about Josh’s return to the family and show:

Ratings for his younger sisters’ spin-off series, Jill & Jessa: Counting On have begun to slip — so the Duggar family patriarch, Jim Bob, devised a plan to not only save his family’s show (and primary source of income) but also revitalize his disgraced son’s career.

“He spent a month trying to convince TLC that Josh should be back on the show. They finally caved and agreed to let him film an upcoming Counting On webisode where he’ll talk about his joy at learning he’s going to be a father again,” the source explains. If the episode is well-received, “He’ll appear on the next season of Counting On.”

That was quick! The comments on the Duggar Instagram, Facebook and these articles are filled with Duggar supporters crowing how much they missed Josh and how great it is he’s returning are disgraceful. This man has enacted a pattern of abuse and disrespect since his teens, how can anyone ever be alright with that?
