No Longer Quivering
Over the last few weeks I’ve been tempted to post about Jill Duggar Dillard’s husband, Derick. He’s been up to a number of not so great things, to the point that even CNN jumped into the fray and TLC issued a statement saying that his views were not their views of transgender.
Derick sent out an increasingly insulting tweets towards the star of one of TLC’s other reality shows – Jazz Jennings of ‘I Am Jazz’ If you haven’t seen the show it follows a teenager dealing with the reality of being transgendered. Derick kept tweeting and adding fuel to the transphobic fire.
Not so shocking right? While this was ongoing there are rumors coming out dealing with Dericks own sexuality and possible scandal in El Salvador.
In the last few days it’s been announced that Derick and Jill are immediately ending their overseas mission to El Salvador to concentrate on ministry in Arkansas. They are still fundraising for their ministry.
Good, they have no business there in the first place. Most of Central American is filled with Christians, both Catholic and Protestant.
There’s been a lot of speculation as to why the Dillards have ended their El Salvadorian mission, everything from Jill or Sam having ongoing health issues to Derick being in serious trouble and the displeasure of Jim Bob over the actions of Derick. Some say it’s due to TLC deciding not to film the Dillards in El Salvador while others think it has something to do with the pending lawsuit of the Duggar sisters. What do you think?
