The Transformed Wife’s Lori Alexander has been promoting an interesting blog called ‘A Lady’s Code’ The blog seems to be delving all the way back to the time of Victorian fainting couches to justify some of the author’s stances. Her writing seems to ask the unspoken question of how ladylike are you?

Lori linked to the blog the other day when she was rejoicing over how perfect and ladylike Prince William’s wife Kate was on the steps of the hospital shortly after giving birth to her third child. Ms. Alexander does not seem to able to understand that Kate, as royalty, has access to a full hair and makeup staff before that post-birth photo call. I just hope they gave Kate the good stuff of painkillers before she had to stand there grinning for the masses. I cannot think of anything less appealing hours after birth than having to put on a show for others.

Ms. Alexander loves her fantasies and Hallmark Channel romance movies.

Apparently the author of ‘A Lady’s Code’ must too based on many of the posts I looked at. This piece by this author made me laugh the loudest, as Lori Alexander herself has violated a number of these online. Remember all those photos of granite countertops and kitchens? Big salads?

Don’t most people, not just women, try to keep their homes tidy, don’t instagram every meal, and do nice things for others without publicizing every instance?

FYI: This is a blog of the lady who always did Lady Lydia’s homekeeping blog. I believe it is connected to those verklempting women at Ladies Against Feminism. LAF has not updated in ages. Written by an Evangelical cultural enforcer who insisted today that you must wear a slip and stockings.
