There are zero articles written by Michael Pearl this month in No Greater Joy Magazine, and it looks like the entire issue is exactly four articles long. What’s going on here? One of them is a letter from a reader, another is the story about the spoiled boy and his cell phone addiction and the other was a clear falsehood by Debi Pearl. This is the other, written by someone else besides the Pearls. It promotes Debi’s book ‘Created To Be A Help Meet’ and urges women to let your man be a man?

There’s a great deal of discussion with those types the Pearls divide men into with weird claims about testosterone and feminist bashing.

No, it’s foolishness. If your man is emotional fragile enough that you changing a light bulb instead of waiting on his manly man self to do it is threatening to his ego and happiness he’s not so very manly after all. Another example of fragile, weak, delicate men masquerading as strong.

You can almost hear the original writer grinding her teeth together in frustration waiting on that light bulb telling herself that she will be thankful, joyful and HAPPY no matter what. It’s no way to live, that’s for sure.
