No Longer Quivering
Alright, so that is not exactly what Above Rubies Nancy Campbell said in her post on making mothers fearful that they are doing it wrong. But you can extrapolate her words and easily end up there. It would be a valid fear in Nancy’s world to think if you aren’t mothering right you are revealing Satan to the world.
Here’s what she said. I have to give Nancy credit. Unlike many others (I’m looking at you Debi Pearl and Lori Alexander) she wraps her poisonous theology in sugary words to make it more palatable. Which makes it all the more dangerous to the unsuspecting.
Fear mongering with a spoonful of sugar is Nancy Campbell’s speciality.
There is no roadmap or one right way to mother. Don’t let someone else force you into a role you’re not equipped to fill, that you were never meant to fill.
