Weaker vessels are more like ceramic or glass dishes and bowls, not woman. Women are strong.

This is a pile of word salad I found at Ladies Against Feminism that was originally posted at AmericanVision.org as Egalitarianism’s Dirty Secret: The Sexual Objectification of Woman. This quoted bit is the entire basis of the author’s claim. The original article has reams about the problems of pornography and women’s romance novels without any real substance to prove what is claimed in this first paragraph.

Sorry, but we’re not buying it. Seems more likely that Evangelical Quiverfull with the strict gender roles, treating women as possessions, and lack of humanity is more likely to product sexual objectification of women. Statistics show that pornography is more of a problem in religious communities of all types, and if the racks of books are any indication there are a lot of women out there reading romance novels.

None of this is any business of anyone else. Read that romance novel if it makes you happy. It has nothing to do with how equal you are.
