Gayer Than a Pope’s Tweet?

Gayer Than a Pope’s Tweet? December 17, 2018

There are days when I look at pastor Doug Wilson’s blog and wonder if I’m having some weird fever dream, or perhaps someone micro-dosed me on a mind bending drug. His posts are all just so bizarre, mostly focused on the sexuality of others. For a supposedly hetero man he focuses way too much in his blog Blog and Mablog on male same sex relationships in the most derogatory terms. But I laughed at this one, his comparing Evangelical men to some imaginary gay Pope. He might have a point, except we don’t know what the preferred sexuality of the Pope actually is.

Doug could learn something from the latest pope, like compassion, care for the poor and hungry, humility. Heaven forfend Doug might have to forgo a meal to go out and feed the hungry like Pope Francis does weekly.

Let’s look at some of the Pope’s tweets and see how they line up with Doug Wilson’s gay-bashing constant drum beat.

Hmm, not very β€œgay” But I’ll tell you what it is, much more Godly sounding than anything to ever proceed out of the mouth (fingers) 0f Doug Wilson.
