Prayer Warrior Women are Jezebels?

Prayer Warrior Women are Jezebels? February 13, 2019

Debi’s views on women are as sad as a rose in mud.

We’ve looked at Debi Pearl’s piece on Jezebel before, but it’s been a very long time. Debi thinks that a woman not slavering at her husband’s feet like the family dog is busy being a Jezebel. Do you have quiet time? Jezebel.Β  Consider yourself spiritual? Jezebel. Like to pray aloud or have fellowship? Jezebel.

There’s literally no way to win as a woman in Quiverful. Be attractive, but not so attractive you attract anyone else. You’re not praying enough. You’re praying too much! Mixed messages all the time.

One of the very interesting things about this piece is that Debi Pearl does point to the Proverbs 31 wife as good because she’s not busy gossiping to other women or trying to tell her husband what to do. I guess she’s the only female that gets a pass in all this nonsense. Everyone else gets the scorn and guilt heaped on by the shovel full.
