Dangers of Quivering – Being Ridiculously Naive

Short post today. I found this today on the β€œThings Godly Women Say” Facebook page and just had to laugh. If nothing else it shows what a shut in naive person Quiverfull cultural enforcer Lori Alexander of The Transformed Wife is. No one gets anything for free. Particularly at cell phone companies.

Newsflash: The era of the free phone has mostly gone by the wayside along with Model Ts, bouffant hair dos and Tamagotchis. If you end up with a free one it’s an older model.

Speak for yourself Lori! What happened here is she heard what she wanted to hear, blithely signed and grinned without doing that very essential thing, READING THE @&*$&*#^*@^ CONTRACT!

That’s not men being out protecting, that’s just sheer naive dumbness and not paying attention to what is going on. You do not need a penis to read and understand a contract! Granted, I know those salesmen at the AT&T or Verizon store are ultra pushy, but they would have had her sign that contract. This is why it pays to read what you sign, to be educated, and to be, what was that Bible verse? Wise as a serpent and peaceful as a dove?

So I know this has nothing to do with Lori’s blog, but it sure illustrates the childish nature of Quiverfull women. I was always the person in our family that went into the cell phone store and negotiated with the salesmen for the lowest plans and the most service. Never happened to me, but then again I’ve been out in the world, understanding that nothing is really β€œfree” and that slick salesmen merely want to separate you from your hard earned dough.

How could she not know? She signed a contract~ I’m surprised that Ken has her on the account to deal with the billing aspect because at my old church none of the ladies were because of the perception that men pay bills and make the financial decisions. Well, Lori has had an expensive lesson now.
