Black People Make COVID 19 Real?

Black People Make COVID 19 Real? 2022-03-01T17:14:38-04:00

Just a quick one. I saw a screen cap this morning and just had to share it here. For some months now hysterical Lori Alexander of The Transformed Wife has been trying to make the case that COVID is not a real threat, that the entire thing is an overblown media hoax. She’s moaned that the beaches in California have closed. She’s made a pile of false claims about masking, refusing to do it, mocking it. She’s sniffed that now women are being forced to stay home and thinks that is good. She’s demanded reopenings so she can get her beef tallow to rub on her skin. Fighting against all common sense and CDC advice.

Then George Floyd dies at the hands of law enforcement, people are outraged and people of color start marching. Marching mostly masked even if there isn’t the social distancing you’d like to see. They are outraged, as well they should be, as we all should be over the systemic racism in our society.

Lori Alexander reacts, she reacts like you might expect a brainless nutbar ninny like Ayla Stewart of Wife With a Purpose might, rather racist. Like someone with a membership in a certain secret Southern society might react. Every single thing that can be said to deny justice towards other races that can be said is hurled by her. And we end up here….

Yes, Lori is now blaming, second hand blaming by retweeting, the face masked marchers in the protests for the spike in Coronavirus, which Lori has been screaming for months is not a real thing. Instead of where it really belongs, on those younger people flooding into bars, parties and other unsafe gatherings without a mask to be seen anywhere.

Do you see mask one here? Backwater Jack’s in Missouri.

How about here? In California on Memorial Day weekend?

How about here in this Wisconsin bar?

All I see is a bunch of folks ignoring all CDC guidelines and spreading disease. What all three of these unmasked photos have in common is a huge surge in active COVID 19 infections in the 35 and under crowd. Contrast that with footage of the protests.

While the pool parties, bars and shopping adventures have indeed led to a spike in Coronavirus cases according to contact tracers, the same cannot be said about the Black Lives Matter marches.

Why? Apparently enough people are masking at the events to keep infection rates low. This is how masking works to defeat the spread of infectious diseases. Granted, not everyone is masked, but enough people have masked to make it relatively safe for everyone.

Masking works. It is one of the few things one can do to cut the spread of the disease and protect your fellow man, wear a mask.

Lori Alexander is both a racist and a hypocrite. Changing her stance each day based upon what she wishes to protect, project and purpose each day.
