Martyrbating – Good Old Fear Mongering Over Trump, COVID and Liberals Under the Bed

Last night I was doing my usual stroll through Facebook and Instagram when this caught my eye on Jill Rodrigues Instagram page:

As you notice at the bottom this is not written by Jill, which we knew because it was more literate than her writing, but by the daughter of Debi and Michael Pearl – Shoshanna Pearl Easling. Sho is a Plexus brand ambassator much higher up the food chain that Jill, with free trips to Hawaii and other promotional gimmes.  She’s managed to pitch an MLM successfully to her parents fans.

All those things Shoshanna is saying above are lies, fundamentalist martyrbating fear points. Let’s look at a few.

• No homeschooling and mandatory curriculum. Biden has never once said this, or anything remotely like it anywhere!
• Mandatory vaccination. Not one word about making vaccinations mandatory for anyone. You’re thinking of Costa Rica and other developing nations that do have mandatory vaccination laws in place, no matter what HSLDA says on their website.
• More aborted black babies. Literally the only statistics anywhere I could find shows more abortions than births in women of color in NYC in 2009 and 2013. I am finding no other updated abortion statistics. Women of color also had less or no access to birth control, and healthcare with soaring numbers of heart disease, diabetes, cancer and sexually transmitted diseases. If Shoshanna was really concerned about this she’d be out protesting for more access to healthcare instead of raving about abortion rates from a few years in one place.
• China didn’t get rid of their history entirely because of communism. Some of their ‘history’ and ‘heritage’ needed to go because it was inherently abusive. Foot binding, the class system of coolies, very unequal distribution of wealth to a few fell by the wayside as their political system changed. That’s not a bad thing. China is morphing into a capitalist society, which should make Shoshanna happy.
• The only one engaging in bullying, slander and terror is our dear president. All the things Shoshanna accused the Democrats of are actively being done by Trump!
• No one is forcing Christians to take down gaudy crosses, Jesus fish and other ticky tacky junk!
• No one is trying to remove the Constitution, we’re just trying to keep the president himself from destroying it.
• Her fear mongering over gun control and owning property is just silly. Literal property ownership rights go back hundreds of years. Perhaps she’s only recently heard about imminent domain seizes, which are a real thing.
• Defunding the police merely means stripping jobs off them they were never designed to do, like social work, like drug counselors, like so many other things. It frees up the police to actually police and protect without putting them in harms way by forcing them to take on increasing and confusing roles. Funding for those extraneous roles is removed and routed to the appropriate agencies handling that problem. It does not mean no police.

After that I took a look over at first No Greater Joy, and then Shoshanna’s Facebook page. NGJ has their newest magazine up, but it’s mostly written by others with an advertorial by Debi Pearl for her big book of bad brains bashing screen watching, and some babbling by Mike about giving a kid a toolbox.

But Sho’s Facebook page was a huge molten mass of crazy conspiracy theories! You have to wade past the zillion photos and stories of kids but the crazy is there, starting with praising Fox New’s Tucker Carlson.

Yeah, well Tucker is the same brainless talking head that said Costa Rica was an island. I’m sure Panama and Nicaragua were surprised to hear that. Shoshanna is starting to babble rather oddly about Wayfair. I was puzzled by that and had to go back even further.

Yawn, standard Evangelical excuses for Trump.

First, Trump was a friend of Jeffrey Epstein and Ghislane Maxwell. There are numerous photos and videos of them together. He’s been accused of sexually abusing under age girls right there with Jeffrey.

One of the links I cut off out of this long piece by Sho was a link to the Wayfair conspiracy. This is where Shoshanna goes from typical evangelical Fox News and Trump worshiper to crazy conspiracy theorist. Apparently people now believe that Wayfair’s product names are the names of disappeared young girls and if you order one of their super overpriced cabinets you’re actually ordering a snatched, sex trafficked, missing child to abuse. She believes that all of the Democrats and many companies like Wayfair deal in sex trafficked children!

Facebook has marked the story as False Information.

It blows my mind that for people that claim to fear nothing because of the protection of their God that they sure have some crazy fearmongering ideas about how the world works. Yes, sex trafficking is a problem, but it’s more preventative in religious communities like troubled teen homes than pizza joints, or furniture stores! I am guessing if you have a homeschool education only that Occam’s Razor is unknown.
