Here are the headlines covering some of the Trump-created chaos Americans are facing right now.
Trump and his puppets in the Senate refuse to fund TSA. Hawaii is experiencing a massive natural disaster and Trump hasn’t said a word about it, much less done anything to provide aid. And Trump’s war with Iran continues its free fall down the mountain.
The reason TSA has not been funded is that Trump and his puppets in Congress have refused in repeated votes to fund it.
Trump and his stooges in the Senate are deliberately inflicting the mess at our airports on the American people as a way to blackmail Senate Democrats to allow Trump to pass legislation he wants.
I don’t think Trump cares what happens to the American people. His “negotiating” tactic on his voter suppression bill is to deliberately stop funding for TSA. His way of “helping” us is to put hundreds of ICE agents in our airports and let them wander around aimlessly.
I can’t think of one reason it benefits the American people to put ICE agents in airports. Trump’s buddy Steve Bannon says that the reason ICE is in the airports is that Trump is using this as a dry run for using ICE agents to intimidate voters in the election this fall.
Trump’s newly minted head of DHS, Markwayne Mullins, was asked point blank if he would use ICE agents to intimidate voters next fall. He refused to rule it out.
The bottom line is this: Except for the floods in Hawaii, not one bit of this chaos and death is necessary. It was all caused by Trump. As for the floods in Hawaii, Trump is derelict in his duty for not immediately offering the aid and support of our government to America’s suffering citizens. Every other president since Herbert Hoover would have done so.
