Lucky for us it is the season of the witch. Tradition holds that the ancestors, and the other world is close and magick is happening. Personally I have always embraced the word witch, and it is a glorious thing to see others do the same. This Samhain season I am proud to announce I will be involved with two witch events in the NY area : The 4th Annual Sleepy Hollow Festival of Witches and the NYC Witches Masquerade Halloween Ball.

I really hope to see some of you at these events. Take time to enjoy yourself while it is Samhain and the veil is thin. I posted on my FB page last year that I was tired of seeing people post that ” It’s Samhain and the vale is thin.” In case you missed it the problem is with the misspelling not the concept. Apparently one semi-famous witch didn’t get it and proceeded to witchsplain Samhain to me … hahaha. I thought it was more amusing to leave it, and my friends posted a bevy of comments like “I am so smart, I am so smart.”
