I’m surprisingly excited about having a wedding cake. It has never been in my plan just because it seemed like an unnecessary expense, yet given the opportunity to get one, I am totally thrilled!
It seems like one of those quintessential wedding experiences.
Brad’s friend, Kee, at GotteGris Bakery, is creating our cake and she’s going to Hindu theme it!
Maybe like one of these cakes that I think I saw on Pinterest (Also, I have a Wedding Pinterest board and it’s got a lot of cool things for Hindu weddings)
Here’s us at our tasting!
I’m not stressing too much about the wedding, but there is a lot of upheaval happening in my life right now and it’s challenging to stay centered through it all. I feel stretched pretty thin these days. Let’s see, what am I doing?
- Maintaining this blog
- Working on my publishing company and producing its books
- Working on my own writing
- Doing a regular 9-5 job
- Planning a wedding
- Moving to a new apartment
Then there’s all the going to the gym, trying to live healthier, etc. I’m pretty worn out! Modern life is really demanding and it’s hard to find anything that can be cut. I’m working towards hopefully being able to leave my office job to pursue my art full time, so that will help. But then again, I’ll probably just fill the gap with something else!
