Oooh-la-la!

If it is at all humanly possible to be back later to finish my road trip story, I promise to, but right now I have to show you something that I’m so excited about.

A few days ago, my incredible sister-in-law Emily, who just happens to be a professional photographer, and her friend, who just happens to be a former model, agreed to help the Ogre and I out by doing a photo shoot with our jewelry. We are planning to use some pictures for the e-vites to our show, and the rest when we build our website later this month.

Well, the pictures are to die for. Sara is so stunning, the light was just right, the pieces were put together so well, and I’m so thrilled with the result that I had to show you. So here are a few of my favorites, but if you want to see Emily’s full post, it’s here.

Aren’t they fabulous? I’m so thrilled with the way everything is coming together, except the name! The Ogre and I have been wracking our brains to come up with a name that is evocative of the qualities we feel that our jewelry expresses…moxie, spunk, creativity and beauty, with a little hint of elegance and a drop or two of grace. So if you have ideas, please please leave them in the combox! If we end up picking a suggestion, I’ll send the suggester a free pair of earrings!

Our jewelry show is going to be next Friday and Saturday, so if any of you are or will be in the DFW area, please send me an email and I will send you an e-vite. I would love to meet some of you in person! And please don’t hesitate to come even if (like me) your pockets are turned out for lack of funds and there’s no way you can purchase anything.
