Sunset at Laity Lodge

I thought you’d enjoy this photo of a recent sunset at Laity Lodge. It was taken by my son, Nathan, from a ridge above the Lodge itself.

Thanks, Denise. Of course, he had plenty to work with!

    Wow, what a spectacular sunset!
Nathan, framed a sunset like none I’ve ever seen before.
But, how can the sun set there, when it sets here, on Cape Cod bay!???
I’ve got to get to laity lodge that’s for certain. Thank you Mark, for all that you do.

    Indeed!

Is it royalty free to use as my desktop background? I usually use a photo of my own but this one is gorgeous. Nathan has a great eye.

    Sure. You’re welcome to it!

Hope that by God’s grace, I’ll have the chance to visit the Lodge someday…

    Yes, indeed.

Have just arrived home from a trip to Alaska with my family…son and wife, daughter, granddaughter and grandson and I’m reminded of the vastness and beauty and variety of God’s wonderful creation. We are so privileged to be a part of it.  Am also enjoying catching up on my daily readings.  How wonderful that your son has such a good eye to catch the beauty.  Thanks for sharing this and also your thoughts with us.

    Thanks for the note. I haven’t been to Alaska. Someday . . . .
