Quoting Quiverfull: Modern Women Are Rebellious? April 21, 2017

quotingquiverfullby Lori Alexander from The Transformed Wife – She is Loud and Stubborn

Editor’s note: Lori is citing yet again from her 1828 Webster’s Dictionary to make determinations if women are living up to the standards she has gleaned from her Bible reading. Loud and stubborn aren’t always bad characteristics to have. Loud and stubborn women got us the right to vote here in the United States. Loud and stubborn got Civil Rights for all races in this country. Loud and stubborn got this country unions, the 8 hour work day and labor laws that dictate that children must be in school instead of work as ages as young as six. Loud and stubborn is what ended the the US involvement in the Vietnam War. The problem isn’t being loud or stubborn, it’s how you use your voice and your will.

Can you imagine a commentary today writing about a wife beingΒ β€œdisobedient to her husband” or that her business β€œlies in her own house”? This is why I go to the commentaries of old. They understood the Word of God and that His ways are perfect for all generations. They didn’t need to water it down to make it more politically correct! These two issues (submission and keepers at home) are what make women most angry at me when they are truly angry at God.

Unfortunately, many men are married to women like this definition of loud and stubborn women. Married women today have no problem flirting with other men. They find old boyfriends on Facebook and begin an emotional affair that can easily turn into something more sordid without any thought for their husband and children. They are foolish women who are tearing their homes down with their own hands. They have no wisdom. They are β€œever learning and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth” (2 Timothy 3:7) or like young widows who leave the faith and rebel against God’s will for them which is to marry, bear children, and guide the home: β€œAnd withal they learn to be idle, wandering about from house to house; and not only idle, but tattlers also and busybodies, speaking things which they ought not” (1 Timothy 5:13.)

QUOTING QUIVERFULL is a regular feature of NLQ – we present the actual words of noted Quiverfull leaders, cultural enforcers and those that seek to keep women submitted to men and ask our readers: What do you think? Agree? Disagree? This is the place to state your opinion. Please, let’s keep it respectful – but at the same time, we encourage readers to examine the ideas of Quiverfull and Spiritual Abuse honestly and thoughtfully.

Also, Lori is sharing videos at her old blog and on YouTube. We know from our years of watching Lori’s extra Biblical ideas that she heavily censors or deletes any negative commentary, or any comments that are not glowingly praising her. I’m sharing her video here where she cannot delete comments like she does on her YouTube account and over at both of her blogs. This is one of her most disturbing videos because she makes the connection between working mothers and a child’s depression, going so far as to claim that if you work it will cause your child to develop depression. There’s no supporting legitimate evidence out there to support her words. This is just more blame and shame from a frustrated and angry female cultural enforcer with the Christian Patriarch Movement, who has no control over her own life, so she seeks to make everyone else as miserable as she herself is.

Well, what do you think of her ideas on working women? She’s starting to look a great deal like her idol Debi Pearl of No Greater Joy Ministries.
