Sr. Theresa Aletheia Noble, FSP, comes to Patheos

Sr. Theresa Aletheia Noble, FSP, comes to Patheos October 10, 2014

Amid all the layfolk, Patheos’ Catholic Channel has enjoyed hosting the blogs of two fine priests, one deacon, and one cinema-savvy religious sister, who is more or less “shared” with the Entertainment group. Now, we are happy to add another sister — unsurprisingly, a second Daughter of Saint Paul — to the mix. We are happy to announce the arrival of Sister Theresa Aletheia Noble, who brings her excellent blog, Pursued by Truth into our lineup!

sister teresa pronouncing vows Sr. Theresa Aletheia Noble, FSP is a former atheist who, “thanks to the grace of God,” has returned to the faith in which she was raised. Attracted to the charism of evangelization, she recently pronounced her first profession of vows and Pursued by Truth is just one way she lives out the apostolate of her community, which uses all facets of media to proclaim the Good News of Jesus Christ and his death and resurrection. Her blog writing has always exhibited a great deal of common sense, empathy and compassion, and a passion for the truths found within the teachings of the Church.

A former inmate of Silicon Valley, Sr. Theresa Aletheia (we love her name and can’t stop saying Ter-ray-sa Al-lay-theea!) is out of the corporate the rat race, and following running with Saint Paul in the marathon of faith. She is a “connoisseur” of books about Saint Therese of Liseiux, and now lives in Miami, where she “prays, evangelizes, bakes bread, and blogs.”

Be sure to subscribe to her blog. You can follow also follow her on Twitter and Facebook.
