This is the challenge to all of us when so many think we are self appointed social Media experts who know more than the scientists and politicians. It may be hard to trust in our leaders as they don’t understand whats going on. But we can trust God! Psalm 131 teaches us to still our minds. It tells us how to be still and know that He is God. “O Lord, my heart is not lifted up; my eyes are... Read more

I don’t think many of us will be sad to see the back of 2020. Many of us had high hopes for the year. My own review of 2019 and looking forward into 2020 looks a bit cute looking back on it as this turned out to be a really hard year. Whilst prayer can be of some use to someone who is not yet saved, simply praying in a ritualistic way will not help you be born again  Unless you see your prayer... Read more

In this time of lockdowns and social distancing it is too easy for us as Christians to become passive consumers of video content on Sundays, and to spend the rest of the week either holed up in our homes isolating, and working online if we can, or out doing vital work which must continue. But what of the work of the gospel? The motivation for mission is compassion.  Read more

I don’t tend to write much on here about my blood cancer journey since I now have a whole new website for that, Blood Cancer Uncensored. But a few days ago I passed a significant milestone: two years since starting chemotherapy. I am very grateful that the treatment was successful. It has not all been plain sailing from there, and I continue to face challenges with my immune system leading to infections, inflammation, and fatigue which only those who have experienced... Read more

Today Logos Bible Software version 9 introduces support for dark mode which many people find less straining on the eyes. There is a major revamp also to the Passage Guide and Factbook as well as improvements to the in-built word processor. You can still use Logos with an external word processor too, which if you are like me you will likely continue to do. I have recorded a short video review and demonstrated some of the new features on... Read more
