Just before her new song’s radio premiere, Kelly Clarkson revealed something no one knew yet — that the beat in a teaser for her “Heartbeat Song” was actually her daughter’s heartbeat from before she was born!
We haven’t told anyone. It’s actually River’s heartbeat slowed down from when she was in my tummy.
The tease was only 15 seconds long and had just the sound of a heartbeat. Nobody had a clue whose it was! “Heartbeat Song” is Kelly Clarkson’s first song released since she had River Rose last summer.
This news also comes at perfect timing for a couple states who are trying to pass “heartbeat laws” protecting the unborn.
Whether or not she meant it as a pro-life move, Kelly Clarkson’s choice not only celebrates her daughter but also brings more attention to the life of unborn babies – they have heartbeats just like us!
