Part 1: I’m Sorry Campaign 2010 Atlanta Gay Pride

Part 1: I’m Sorry Campaign 2010 Atlanta Gay Pride October 25, 2010

Our recent I’m Sorry experiment at this past Chicago Gay Pride blew up. We never expected anything like that to happen. Since, something like 28,000 people ‘liked’ it on Facebook, our Director of Pastoral Care Nathan Albert’s post about hugging a man in his underwear has been viewed almost a half a million times in the last three and a half months, and we’ve gotten a bunch of invites to go places next year to partner with others in their own city to do I’m Sorry Campaign 2011.

Our first experience outside of Chicago was just a few weeks ago in Atlanta at their Gay Pride. Great friends of The Marin Foundation – the Salvation Army South Territory Headquarters (staff, officers and their friends) – partnered with us for this particular I’m Sorry. I will be posting the videos as well as some pictures of our time. It was amazing.

Much love.
