Free Audio Version of A Chrismas Carol by Dickens

Here’s a great opportunity. It was brought to my attention by Craig Beard, who left a comment on my post a couple of days ago. christianaudio.com is giving away a free audio version of A Christmas Carol by Charles Dickens. As near as I can tell, this is truly free. No signing up for a monthly subscription or anything like that. You do have to register with christianaudio.com, and in the registration process you have the opportunity to receive their promotional information. But you can opt out.

I downloaded their audio version of A Christmas Carol and have been listening to it. I’m about 20% through, and am very pleased. The reader, Simon Vance, an award-winning reader, does an excellent job. So, while I’m still a big fan of Jim Dale’s rendering, I highly recommend this audio version. And you can’t beat the price.
