Doug Wilson of Blog and Mablog is continuing on with his ideas on how men and women cannot be friends. He is responding to a book by Aimee Byrd called ‘Why Can’t We Be Friends’. Funny, while he’s all about how these friendships defraud men there’s not one work about defrauding wives and women. Is that because he believes men own women? Do male/female relationships defraud people even if no sex is involved?

Doug still does not explain why a tight friendship is defrauding if there is no sex or flirting involved. Is it because it takes some of the spouse’s attention away from the partner? Or because it might lead to that most dangerous thing in Evangelical Quiverfull – thinking for one’s self?
