Why Does Tim Bayly Replace ‘Gay’ With ‘Bestiality’? September 8, 2018

Cows and horses on the backroads out of Playa Grande Costa Rica. Not for sex ever except with each other….

This is by pastor Tim Bayly of Out of Our Minds and deals with the UK group, Living Out. Living Out is apparently seeking a place at the faith table, trying to get Christians to be as intolerant of homophobia as much of polite society has gotten. But Bayly goes into a very weird place, taking their efforts to foster understanding to mean that they are trying to make everyone accept bestiality. Why does Tim Bayly replace gay with bestiality? I don’t get it.

Here’s the original church audit that Living Out is trying to get churches to agree to. Nothing too outrageous, it looks like an attempt to gauge exactly where congregations stand on the topic. Sometimes it’s appropriate and important to look at where you are. Imagine that, they want to be treated with the same respect as everyone else~ The NERVE!! (not really, they deserve the same treatment as everyone…)

But Bayly rewrites it, inserting references to sex with animals, and gives no real indication why in the rest of his ranty word salad. One cannot read his mind or have him transmit his whys via psychotronic scanning.Β  Bayly says he’s doing it because the Bible mentions β€˜sodomy’ side by side with β€˜bestiality’ I do not buy that as his answer, it’s likely more disturbing than that.

Hmmm, by doing that you can go to some really strange places in scripture, like β€˜fools’ and β€˜vomit’ being mentioned side by side. It’s a new game we can all play!

Bayly is just outraged that he might have to treat a LBQT person like everyone else instead of hatefully shaming them.

Here’s Bayly’s rewriting the questions. This is disrespectful, disgusting and way too pornographic of thinking for most of us:

I know one thing, I wouldn’t allow this pastor near any of my animals now.
