Florida’s Red Tide Just Like a Democratic Blue Wave?

Photo from the Smithsonian website.

Looks like Nancy Campbell’s husband needs to pick someone to hand his writing chores off to. Most of Colin Campbell’s Meat For Men is a sentence or two about a father’s need to read to children and other fluff. But not this crazy illogical leap featuring a certified Campbell family miracle before Colin starts to beat on his political enemies. He says Florida’s Red Tide just like a Democratic Blue Wave.

One very bad analogy plus hysteria. Sounds like pure Colin Campbell.

Then Colin goes on to claim that anyone to the left of his political views is a communist baby killer bent on serving Satan. On and on with this drivel.Β  While I’m sorry they had a bad experience the first day of their vacation this piece serves as an ample reminder than those that live full time in Quiverfull Evangelicalism are living in a hermetically sealed false reality that shares nothing with real life. The Red Tide problems have been all over the news for months now, so how could you book a beach house in Florida and not know a thing about the problem? I guess the same way you can think ever Democrat is a slaverying at the jaws baby killing communist and Satan worshiper.

Colin’s dire warnings that I did not quote remind me of this scene from the film β€˜Reefer Madness’
