Doug Wilson’s Sexual Imbecility Word Salad

Doug Wilson’s Sexual Imbecility Word Salad

Warning there is a lot of silly pearl clutching ahead.

There are times when it is almost impossible to figure out exactly what it is that Doug Wilson of Blog and Mablog is yammering on and on about. This is one of those. If I didn’t know he’s upset about any sexuality that is not man on top, woman on bottom, get it over with quick in the dark vanilla sex I’d be confused. But Doug has made his personal preferences into a set piece for so long we all know what he means. This is Doug Wilson’s sexual imbecility word salad without capers, olives or dressing.

He starts with this confusing pile of mangled buzz words and his imagining what might sound clever. Too bad it makes zero logical sense. He starts by speaking of bungy-jumping without being tied to anything before moving into a complex yet idiotic explanation of the Book of Genesis from the Bible and then we land here.

I don’t know for sure what Doug is trying to say here. He’d be better off just sticking to simple language and not attempting to be what I assume is an attempt at humor. I think he’s making fun of scientists, educated people and the transgendered. Newsflash – being a scientist, having an education or being transgender does not put a person beyond the reach of the God he claims to follow.

And somehow we are at sex with robots and other things Doug considers perverse. It’s a pretty big leap from scientists to anal sex. As far as a gay mafia in the Catholic church I would venture to say based up figures starting to crop up in the media that the problem of people in power molesting children seems to cut through all denominational divides. It’s disingenuous for Doug to point at the Catholics while he is marrying a convicted child molester to a child bride in his own church.

Doug goes on in his piece to complain about all the Evangelical organizations that are not throwing verbal rocks at everyone else with a differing sexuality. Stomping feet time!

The religious liberty in our country does not mean what Mr. Wilson thinks it means. It means that all religious expressions and all lack of expression are protected. It does not mean he gets to cram his sick, twisted, hating, nothing to do with the words of Jesus theocracy down the throats of anyone else.

I will agree with him on one thing, repentance is needed, just not the why. He and his ilk need to repent from the constant judgementalism against anyone even slightly different than them. They cause more harm with the constant denigrating of others than an endless fleet of transexuals holding lipsticks. The transexuals are harmless to society, Doug and pals are not.
