The first reviews for The Transformed Wife Lori Alexander’s new book β€œBiblical Womanhood” are finally up. The reviewers are more male than female, so much for saying she only teaches women. β€œTrey” has made his nasty appearance.

Didn’t Lori say she disliked all the negative reviews last time from people who never bothered to read the book? Her first positive review was one of those, a guy that said he hadn’t ordered or read the book right on her timeline, but did an Amazon review anyway:

and Lori responded by sharing his review, the only one up for days labeled β€˜Ryan Messano’. I pointed out to Ryan thatΒ  reviews left by people who have not read a book are highly discouraged and he responded with about the same level of sanity as many of the posters that end up on Jerks4Jesus. Then Ryan replied with extra nastiness to my warning to Trey to knock it off with the death threats like Trey has posted to me during the release of Lori’s first book.

Clearly it is him. His user name at Lori’s The Transformed Wife post links right to Ryan Messano’s own personal news site. Googled him and found a whole lot of very hateful behavior, right down to him being forcibly removed from a Vallejo, California civic event while he’s shouting about the evil of gays and gay African Americans.

Ryan’s insurance business had a pile of negative reviews on Yelp that were removed for violation of terms of service. Only a few still linger, but speak of hate speech and conspiracy theories. The most surprising thing online were the piles of legal actions, both as a defendant and a plaintiff. All easily searchable by a few clicks of Google

Another scary hot mess of a confused guy. Seems like many of her commenters on her blog, her Facebook page, her super secret chat room and her other social media pages are guys, very bad awful guys like him.

I mention his easily findable doings only as a prelude to my main point. That most of Lori’s book reviewsΒ  and many fan interactions are by men, men who are clearly not what you might call Christian at all, racists, conspiracy theorists, guys who hate anyone not exactly like them.

Example? Vaughn Ohlman, him of the creepy fixation with young women’s mammary glands, very regularly comments on her FB page. To the point where he is tagged as a β€œTop Fan”

I’ve seen Biblical Gender Roles at Lori’s and seen her quote him.

And let us not forget β€œTrey”, of whom I am not entirely sure is not a family member lurking in disguise. Trey is memorable because of his open attempts to dox me and see harm done over my negative book review of her first book β€˜The Power of the Transformed Wife.”

Then there are all the openly racist and borderline criminal types Lori loves to quote, who sometimes respond to her, like Dalrock, like Stefan Molyneux.

Which brings me to this question – Why so many sheerly awful men are surrounding Lori? The Bible says in a number of places that we will be known and judged by the company we keep. If that’s truth then what are we to make of a woman that willingly surrounds herself with guys who seem mentally unbalanced, racist, homophobic and hate-filled?

Can you even genuinely claim to know Jesus when you hang around with misogynistic bullies and thugs?

1 Corinthians 15:33 – β€œDo not be mislead. Bad company corrupts good character”
